Getting Started
Your EBSCOhost Integrated Search implementation entails three key phases. And throughout these phases, you’ll receive outstanding support, service, and communication from EBSCO’s dedicated Discovery Solutions Team.
Phase 1 - Welcome & Gather Data
- Consider forming an internal implementation team to collaborate on your service design & launch; brainstorm ideas and take a look at some of our Branding and Widget recommendations.

- Sign up for an EHIS Overview online class at http://training.ebsco.com, or listen to the recorded training sessions.
- Listen to the recorded training sessions listed on the lower-left sidebar of this page, including Evaluating & Implementing EHIS.

- Review helpful documentation to get an overview of EBSCOhost Integrated Search:
- Attend an online training class regarding EBSCOadmin. Register at http://training.ebsco.com.

Phase 2 - Configure & Customize you Product

- Consider establishing a test group to evaluate your EHIS set-up and customizations prior to full launch.
- Begin to plan your EHIS launch campaign including training, announcements, and promotional events & materials:
Phase 3 - Review & Approve
- Establish appropriate access options for your patrons, such as direct URL:

Following the Launch of your Live Product
- Launch your EHIS campaign to promote usage and awareness.
- Schedule training for staff and end users; request training assistance from EBSCO's team of Implementation Specialists.
- Continue to monitor performance and adjust tiers or subject groups as desired
